Care Instructions

USER MANUAL (PDF)

Foam:

Spot clean core with mild detergent, by hand only. Dry at room temperature, away from heat or sunlight.

Cover:

Machine wash: cold, gentle cycle. Wash other colours separately. Do not bleach, line dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Your play couch must be unboxed within 2 weeks of receiving it to qualify for warranty coverage or be eligible for any replacement due to a manufacturer defect. This is because our play couches are compressed and rolled, and if left too long, the foam may not expand fully. Play couches cannot be left in their packaging for more than a few months without risking not rebounding fully, and depending on when your play couch is ordered/delivered, it may have already been packaged for several weeks.

We recommend washing darker covers (midnight blue, plum and red specifically) separately prior to use to prevent any colour transfer. Machine wash cold with detergent (you can add a cup of white vinegar in the wash as well) with zippers closed, hang or lay flat to dry with zippers open.

Super durable and fun!

We’ve had a great time with the creativity set. Our son is still young but he’ll be able to move the pieces himself in no time. My husband and I have a great time building with them too!

Great quality but design is flawed

This is a great set for young kids who want to be part of the building process because the pieces are much lighter than the fort set. It's nice to have the thin base and large rectangles for builds. I also quite like the little arches and semi circles.

The issue for me is the rectangular prisim is a weird length and it's very unstable, which gives it limited use. It would be better if it was the full depth of the couch and it's other dimensions need to be considered. Every time my kids stand on this block without it being butted up against other blocks, they nearly fall. It makes me extra nervous during playdates, that someone will get hurt. It could make a fantastic pillar or obstacle if it was redesigned.

I'm also not a big fan of the trapezoidal prisim... it makes for an uncomfortable couch for adults and because of it's short length it's more tricky to use in builds. It's just not very versatile.

How thin it is makes it unstable. My 1yr old knocks every build down by simply grazing it. My 3yr old does a bit better.

Overall I would describe this couch as being more like foam blocks that a young child can build with. It won't give you very stable builds (like the fort set does) but with the build book it will give you so many pretend builds for a preschool or young child. It's a decent addition to the fort set but in hindsight I probably would have preferred a few of the accessories over this couch because we like stable builds to climb on, so this one wasn't a great fit for our style.

Amazing couch!

We love this play couch. This has helped our 9-month old further develop his movement in such a short period of time. Within a few days, he has quickly learned to climb over the obstacle pieces and is pulling up to stand! We know this couch will be a great source of fun for years to come.
