What it is designed for

This play couch is designed for creative play and imaginative builds. It also doubles as a comfortable couch for lounging or a sleep-over foam mattress. It is great for building houses, ships, tea party setups, tunnels, obstacle courses, etc. It is also a fun addition to other more basic play couches to give more options for builds.

Luxury microsuede

Our covers are unlike any others, and our customers can see and feel the difference immediately! Unlike lower quality alternatives, our covers do not stretch out or become saggy over time, nor are they magnets for pet hair.

Super soft, thick, durable and machine washable luxury microsuede. All of our fabrics have been tested in an independent laboratory to ensure they comply with all Canadian and US safety regulations for children's products (including being tested for harmful substances and flammability requirements), so you can rest assured they are safe for your entire family.

Care Instructions

USER MANUAL (PDF)

Foam:

Spot clean core with mild detergent, by hand only. Dry at room temperature, away from heat or sunlight.

Cover:

Machine wash: cold, gentle cycle. Wash other colours separately. Do not bleach, line dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Your play couch must be unboxed within 2 weeks of receiving it to qualify for warranty coverage or be eligible for any replacement due to a manufacturer defect. This is because our play couches are compressed and rolled, and if left too long, the foam may not expand fully. Play couches cannot be left in their packaging for more than a few months without risking not rebounding fully, and depending on when your play couch is ordered/delivered, it may have already been packaged for several weeks.

We recommend washing darker covers (midnight blue, plum and red specifically) separately prior to use to prevent any colour transfer. Machine wash cold with detergent (you can add a cup of white vinegar in the wash as well) with zippers closed, hang or lay flat to dry with zippers open.

Amazing play couch!

We decided to take the plunge and go with Epic Kids over its competitors. I’m so glad we did! Customer service was great - quick responses and communicative. The order shipped incredibly quickly and made it to us in northern BC very fast. The couch itself is of fantastic quality. The fabric is soft and can be brushed off easily. The unpacking instructions were really helpful - we ordered the plum colour and washed the covers before use as recommended. The foam is of high quality and my 6’5 200lb husband can sit and stand on it without it compressing to the floor. My 18 month old is obsessed with climbing all over it. The pieces are versatile enough that we will be able to do more complex builds for him as he grows - right now he loves climbing up them stacked in a tower, and sliding down the triangle pieces. The colour is beautiful and I loved how many other colour options there are - we will be ordering more of different colours to collect the rainbow, haha! It felt especially good to support a small western Canadian business! Would highly recommend.

Our son is almost 10 months old and he already loves it! We bought the fort set and then went back and got the creativity set as well. The pieces are really nice for smaller guys to use and move around. We can't wait to give it to him for his first birthday! With the waterproof liners and washable covers I don't need to worry about spitup or any messes! Love this stuff!

Love it!

We bought this for our little ones first birthday, we couldn't pass up the boxing week sale and tax free. The quality is amazing and it only took a couple days for all pieces to fully be back to shape.
