Transform your thick connected base into a new and exciting play couch add-on with our Epic Climb & Slide Base Cover!
This cover features 2 slippery surfaces made of polyester Taslan, while the rest of the cover is microsuede. This is ideal to create a fun slide on one side, while preventing it from slipping out of place with microsuede on the other side.

- Fits a thick connected base (Play Couch Thick Connected Base, the same size as the base in our Epic Fort Building play couch and our Epic Lounger play couch, and many other brands of play couches): 2 foam pieces (dimensions of each foam piece: 84cm x 84cm x 14cm, 33" x 33" x 5.5"). Please note: this is a different measurement than the connected base in our Epic Creativity 12-Piece play couch.
- Colour-matched YKK zippers that have flaps to cover them, to ensure the zippers don't get in the way of sliding.
- 2 thick handles for easy carrying.
Come in 8 colour options: midnight blue, light blue, dark grey, light grey, mustard yellow, moss green, dusty rose and sand.

Cover:
Machine wash: cold, gentle cycle. Wash other colours separately. Do not bleach, line dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
To avoid any chance of colour transfer, we highly recommend washing midnight blue covers once before use (separately in cold water with 1 cup of white vinegar).

They are comfortable for kids and adult.
Event fell asleep on it once.
My kids haven’t stopped playing on this since it arrived! I love the yellow and that it can be used for a “normal” base too when not in use as a slide (who knows when that will be though?) It is the softest microsuede of all our covers. Two handles for easier carrying and zipper caves are also thoughtful additions I appreciate. Already begging for another and I’m sure I will have to oblige sooner rather than later!
Oh boy....
Let’s make this long story short...
After vehemently explaining, confirming (& writing down too!!!) that the covers are to be washed on COLD WATER WASH then hung to dry, they STILL got thrown in the dryer at high heat. $400 worth of covers, including my brand new Epic Climb & Slide Base cover potentially ruined.
To my very happy surprise, they’re not ruined! They’re not perfect anymore, but WOWWW, it could’ve been so much worse. The colour looks great, the fabric held in great shape and still fits the cushions perfectly, just a SLIGHT ripple in the zipper (which, admittedly still ticks me off when I look at it even though it’s hardly noticeable). The second that I zipped that first cushion on the foam inside I wanted to write this review and praise Epic Kidz for creating a truly impressive quality product. Thank you!
Touching on the Epic Climb & Slide Base Cover itself, it’s nice! Great quality fabric, though I wish it was a bit more slidey. It’s great for my youngest (16 months). My 6 and 3 year old want something a bit more dangerous that’ll surely get them injured.
Take away: We got these couches 4 months ago, and they still get used DAILY.
