It is comprised of 8 foam pieces: a thick connected base, 2 tall arches and doors, and 2 versatile trapezoids. What it is designed for

This play couch is designed for creative builds and play. It also doubles as a comfortable couch for lounging, for both kids and adults. The foam is very firm, so it can hold up well for sturdy builds. 

Comes in 8 elegant colours to choose from: Light Grey, Dark Grey, Light Blue, Midnight Blue, Dusty Rose, Sand, Moss Green and Mustard Yellow. Zippers are all colour matched to the fabric.

Our covers are unlike any others, and our customers can see and feel the difference immediately! Unlike lower quality alternatives, our covers do not stretch out or become saggy over time, nor are they magnets for pet hair.

Super soft, thick, durable and machine washable luxury microsuede. All of our fabrics have been tested in an independent laboratory to ensure they comply with all Canadian and US safety regulations for children's products (including being tested for harmful substances and flammability requirements), so you can rest assured they are safe for your entire family.

Care Instructions

USER MANUAL (PDF)

Foam:

Spot clean core with mild detergent, by hand only. Dry at room temperature, away from heat or sunlight.

Cover:

Machine wash: cold, gentle cycle. Wash other colours separately. Do not bleach, line dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Your play couch must be unboxed within 2 weeks of receiving it to qualify for warranty coverage or be eligible for any replacement due to a manufacturer defect. This is because our play couches are compressed and rolled, and if left too long, the foam may not expand fully. Play couches cannot be left in their packaging for more than a few months without risking not rebounding fully, and depending on when your play couch is ordered/delivered, it may have already been packaged for several weeks.

To avoid any chance of colour transfer, we highly recommend washing midnight blue covers once before use (separately in cold water with 1 cup of white vinegar).

Epic In So Many Ways

I had purchased a small play couch from a different company, just to see if the daycare kids would use or sit in a corner collecting dust. They played with it but there were limited pieces. We decided we needed another play couch with different shapes. We jumped on line and searched play couch, and the kids immediately picked out an EpicKidz Fort Building Set. At the time there was an amazing deal being offered with buy 3, and get the 4th free. I emailed the business and inquired about how long the promotion was running. I had money saved for 1 play set, but not 3. They graciously extended the promotion, and we purchased 2 Fort Building Sets and 2 Creative Play Sets. All 4 sets were delivered within 4 days, and I placed the order on Easter weekend. We can’t believe how significant these pieces are compared to our little play couch. They all pile up nicely at the end of the day. The kids are building 3 room forts. They get so much exercise and I just love watching them get creative with all the pieces. The material and zippers and density of the foam are top quality. We love the colours we chose. We will be purchasing add on pieces. Quality Product Sold By Quality Business. Great fort building play couch

The couch is a bit pricey but overall great quality. Perfect for little kids for a safe climbing toy or perfect for older kids who like forts. I also love that the covers can come off and be washed.

I have 2 other different kinds of play couches, but the Epic Kidz Fort is fantastic! I love that it came with waterproof liners and Christina, the owner, was so helpful throughout my order! I ordered one color and then learned I could get samples of the colors and she sent them out right away and switched my order for me without any troubles. WAY better then the other brands

We have the nugget but wanted something that could do a bit more in terms of building. I am amazed at how high quality the foam is. We also got the wedge and climb add ons which are a huge hit. Debating getting rid of our actual couches and just replacing them with epic Kidz couches!
